Foliage!
With a day off from work I stopped taking meds to mask my cold symptoms. I'm not feeling too bad, but definitely a little stuffy and coughing a bit. I'm also tired faster. Here are some happy things from today:
- It was important to me that I worked on the artsy stuff in the morning before I got tired. Here are the results from today's prompts:

The Inktober prompt of 'Rescue' for some reason reminded me of a supposed quote that I have seen joked about from Lassie, "Timmy's in the well!" It's okay, help is on the way.

The Zentangle prompt was the tangle Algae. I did the one in black ink first. Later in the day I had a few minutes and decided that color would be nice so I did a second one.
- After doing my art stuff, I decided to rearrange my room. I didn't, but I know what I want to do. I moved a couple things and measured. It should work. This has given me a direction on where and how to spend my energy in cleaning and organizing my mess. Moving multiple times and going from a house to a bedroom is hard. If only it was easier to just get rid of things. In the process, I found a pair of earrings that I have been missing for a long time, and other jewelry too. These particular earrings are in a drawing of me that I would see now and again and that would remind me I lost them. Looking at them today, after learning a little about lampwork at Pennsic, I have a new appreciation for their beauty and how they were made.
- A friend and her family are going away and are looking for a petsitter. We went for a walk at Head's Pond Conservation Area so we could talk about the dog, Bjorn, and he and I could get to know each other better. The foliage is beautiful and despite the forecast, we only felt a few sprinkles. Their family used to watch my dog years ago. Bjorn is a good dog.
And from the Finch app:

I am! I still have a ways to go though.
- In an attempt at being whimsical I tried to find a piece of lace or something similar to hang on my wall. What I found was an old lingerie bag, but it does what I wanted. I pinned it to the wall and hung some of the earrings I found today from it. It isn't exactly what I was thinking, but I like it, for now.
