2026 Happy Blog Challenge

 June 29th The summer has just begun and I feel so busy already that I'm going to miss it.  Here are some happy things from today: This morning Keziah and I went out for breakfast.  She told me that she sold around 80 pieces at the Market Days event last weekend.  I'm so happy for her!  When we got home we started going through boxes.  SO MANY BOXES STILL.  A dump run was made and a donation pile now exists too.  Progress was made.  I'm not sure what to do with this souvenir from my childhood.  It was probably Mom's, but I remember parts of our drive along the Mohawk Trail when I was a kid.  I don't remember the tower from that side of the glass, I do remember the Bridge of Flowers and some other things.   I wish I knew if that glass is dishwasher safe or if the paint will go away.  June 23rd It is going to be a long couple of weeks while I put in extra time at work.  Here are some happy things from today: My five year anniversary at work was officially on June 19th.  I wasn't scheduled that day, but I did do some extra hours.  I got an automated congratulations on my work app. Today a supervisor came over with congratulations and let me know that I should be getting a bonus.  Hopefully that will be on my next paycheck, I don't expect much.  I also got a new badge with an orange/gold-ish border. [Picture at the end because the app isn't behaving.] At home I was thrilled to see dirty dishes, plates specifically, in the sink.  I know, it sounds weird.  We still don't have a central table to have a meal at and most people bring their food to their room to eat.  We have been mostly out of plates for a little bit.  So, yes, I was happy to load the dishwasher with plates today.   I purchased some new storage co...

 Happy Palm Sunday! The flowers I couldn't quite identify the other day seem to be pansies.  One was much more open and easy to see today.  I could be wrong... One of today's goals was to move the chickens outside.  Since we moved in the middle of winter with a frozen, snowy ground, they have been in an out building (what I like to call the Firehouse).  Most of their coop was moved outside today.  The chickens are still inside the Firehouse, though.  Some supplies are needed that were not realized beforehand.  The big stuff got moved thanks to some folks coming by to help.
