March 6th Happy things from Friday: Much gratitude to those of you who left comments concerning my friend's passing. Another friend and I visited her husband in the hospital today. He is devastated at the loss, but physically he seemed better than we expected. Last night it was predicted that we would get another 3-6 inches of snow. My routine eye exam was this morning. We didn't get that much snow. I'm very thankful for that. I didn't get too wet walking to the car and I didn't need to shovel or plow my way out. Once I got on the roads they seemed in fairly good shape. That is, until I got to Manchester. The highway was a mess! I was wondering if there was a strike or something. Thankfully, by the time I was finished with my appointment crews had been on the roads and they looked much better-and safer! Bel, Corvidae, and I went to the old house and got some things.
