2026 Happy Blog Challenge

 June 12th Some happy things from today: Keziah and Bel went strawberry picking with a friend this morning.  Fresh berries on my morning cereal was a lovely treat. Bel and I went for a nice short walk in Concord today.  It was buggy in the woods but not in the open.  The river was pretty.  When I sat back down in the car I noticed some kind of a little inch worm on me.  I set it free on a leaf. Canada geese.  Google Lens has this as being some kind of serviceberry. The inchworm. I found a strawberry patch in the yard.  It is, unfortunately, where the dogs play.  Maybe we can move some of the plants in the fall.  June 5th Right before pulling into the parking garage I realized that today was Friday, not Saturday.  Because of this, I remembered to actually PAY for parking.  😂  For today, Friday, my happy things are from pictures: I cannot say that I like this piece of art.  I do like the idea of it though... or at least what I see as the idea of it.  There is the map part.  The islands are actually 3-D and raised from the water parts.  I can only assume that it was either professional or painstaking in the making.  The Canada geese and driftwood are also attached, not painted.  The rectangles and circles are photographs.  There are also sea creatures, teeth (from animals/fish(?), shells, rocks, and things attached.  It seems to be someone's memory collection in one framed piece of art.  That makes it a cool thing, for that person.  The pile of dust in the corner was an added bonus from the back room.  😉   Whil...
