2026 Happy Blog Challenge

 March 30th Here are some happy things from Monday: This morning I was up and out of the house for a dental cleaning followed by a trip to the bank.  I don't like getting my teeth cleaned, but I love how they feel when they have been cleaned. Towards the end of my day I went to the studio to work on Exchequer things with my former protégé.  We made some good progress.   In the middle of my day I went for a walk on a new-to-me trail.  The house was chilly, so I still had my winter jacket on.  It didn't stay on for long though.  The beautiful spring day included temperatures in the upper 60's.  At the top of the remnants of this tree I see a woman, looking up to the sky. ☮ Currently listening to: I See You've Called in Dead , by John Kenney.  January 20th Intentions for the day:  Be joyful/happy and try to learn a coworker's name. Soon after I got home from work things that were not so happy happened.  One of those things was Gideon breaking a tooth.  As I prepare to get some sleep he is at the dentist with his mom.  Anyhow, here are some happy things from today: When I left for work I looked up at the stars.  I was in a bit of a hurry, partially just because it was really cold in the middle of the night.  The stars looked different than they do from the old house, less than three miles from here.  I'm curious how much of this is my imagination/brief amount of time and how much is the direction I was looking.  One of these days I'll take more time and really look.  🤩 On the way to work an owl flew in front of my car.  That was cool and a little startling.
