Flag

 March 4th

Here are some happy Wednesday things:

  • The weather report I watched yesterday before bed implied that the snow and precipitation would end by midnight.  Driving to work, around 1:00 AM, it seemed to be over, but the roads had not been plowed recently.  There was one truck that seemed to be off the road, like they missed their driveway and was slightly in a snowbank.  Thankfully, my drive to work was safe.  I'm not sure where the freezing rain came from when I parked the car.  It was definitely after midnight then.
  • With the temperature above 50° when I drove home, the conditions were much better.  I marched forth, determined to get some of the slush pushed out from the driveway only to get the Jeep stuck.  This time, it might stay there until the snow melts.  And so I marched forth to get ready for bed instead.  😂
The sun getting low.

  • Corvidae noticed tire tracks in the slush that look like a heart.  Pretty neat.

  • The other thing I did while things were less frozen was to hang another flag.  The United States of America flag now has an East Kingdom Pride flag below it.  I'll probably change that flag for one that isn't the East Kingdom version soon.  That one is technically for SCA events.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe.
