Busy Saturday
March 28th
Some happy Saturday things:
- This morning's early morning sky:
- A bunch of cleaning happened first thing. Some housemates with allergies were out of the house so I took the opportunity to do some deep cleaning. The former owners of the house left some cleaners behind that they are allergic to and I was able to finish some of that up.
- Stephanie came over and we went on a nice walk in the woods. This is the same trail system I walked on a few weeks ago. There is much less snow and some things look a lot different. We took a different turn and ended up walking longer than planned. It was cold today, but nice while walking.

- There was a No Kings protest that we attended after. There were lots of people and some good entertainment. I don't want to get political on my blog, but I'm happy that it is something that we are still able to do in this country.
- We stopped in at DIY Craft & Thrift for a few minutes to take the chill off. The store will be closing soon, which is sad. However, I saw this dancing dress form in the back and wanted to share. It isn't every day a dress form busts a move. 😂💃
- After a rest from all the activities of the day I finally sat down and worked on my taxes. They are mostly completed. There are some changes to the rules this year and I am going to talk with HR at work about that this week. It looks like I won't owe money this year, so that is good.
- We've been having water problems. My son, Bel, and a friend just fixed at least one of them, hopefully all. Yay!
