Glazing
May 11th
Some happy Monday things:
- My day started by heading to the old house to do laundry. The dryer isn't currently working at the new house. Getting laundry done is good. The happy part is the one lone tulip blooming in the triangle section of the driveway at the old house.
- Keziah and I set off with tasks between checking on the laundry. One of those tasks was to glaze some of the pottery she has been making. She let me glaze one of the vases. It was fun to sit and talk while painting on glaze.

- There are lilacs in bloom in the city!
- In the afternoon I was able to meet my friend, Amy, for a walk at Livingston Park. We go there often. Today is the first time I remember seeing mileage markers that mark tenths of a mile. We saw .1 and .8. I've seen the ¼ mile marker before. The posts don't appear to be new. I'm feeling rather oblivious though. 😂 It was a nice walk. I have had a weaving idea that I wanted to share with Amy since I was in North Carolina. It was great to have the time to do that.
