Groundhog Day

 Monday

Kayden, keeping me from productivity.

Intention for the day: Look for the positive/proactive side in all the exchanges possible.

Here are some happy Monday things:

  • For February, I wanted to color my hair pink again.  It didn't quite work the way I wanted, but I took a picture anyway.  The green hasn't completely gone away.  My hair has a few colors now.  I'll try again tonight.  I'm liking how freeing this short hair seems to have become.   That said, it is getting too long!  😅

  • For a few years Keziah has been telling me how good the food is at the local hospital's cafeteria, especially the pies.  Today I had the opportunity to try it when we brought our friend there for a follow-up appointment.  Breakfast and the piece of pie I got were very good.  Still, not as good as the company (Keziah and our friend).
  • Keziah and I had a task to complete at the studio.  For quite some time we have needed to add my name to the lease.  We were able to get that process started.  I'll be more comfortable going there by myself now.
  • All our tasks ran later than I hoped.  Instead of a walk with a friend, I finished watching a movie on the treadmill.  Today is 112 days in a row getting over 10,000 steps a day.
Almost three miles.

Sunset.

For the record, the groundhog in Pennsylvania saw his shadow, six more weeks of winter.  This has reminded me that I own snowshoes and should use them!

End of day intention wrap up:  I'm finding that because of this intention setting thing, I'm wording some things better than before.  I'm also occasionally finding things to do when I'm waiting for someone instead of playing games on my phone.  I really like this for me.

Continued listening to: Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
