Epiphany

 January 6th

Intention for the day: As I go through my work day it is my intention to learn someone's name I don't already know.  I also intend to do my best to keep a happy attitude throughout.

Here are some happy things from today:

  • Because of the move, I had some anxiety about getting to work and what I might have forgotten and that sort of thing.  I'm pleased that I was able to get out of the house to go to work on time with all the things I needed.  It will take a little more time to become routine, but day one was a success.  One thing that helped me not be late is the ability to use a carport.  There was an inch-ish of snow that I didn't have to clean off.  I'm so very thankful for that.
  • Work moved me around a bit, in the end I was in places I like to be.  🙂  I overlooked something, but it is fixable.  Tomorrow is a new day.
  • At home I was able to find a burst of energy and put some dishes in the dishwasher and turn that on.  I'm happy about that because between that and whoever did dishes earlier we were pretty much caught up.  Eleven people generate a lot of dirty dishes.  🍽
  • Sunset?  It has been rather overcast.

End of day intention wrap up:  Part of the reason for this intention was to stretch myself with name recognition.  I wasn't able to do that.  I have a hard time just introducing myself to someone randomly and today didn't easily lend itself to that.  I tried to keep a happy outlook, but didn't manage that well either.  It was an off day all around.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
